This video was taken as I was on my way to Hyderabad Airport in November 2009.  These boys were collecting plastic bottles and other small plastic items to resell.

Some people may look at this in pity; but these boys are making the best of what they’ve been given.  Aid to developing countries is a a contentious issue, especially in these ‘austere’ times - but I believe in giving people like these boys more of a chance. Give them a little and they’ll hopefully begin to make a lot.
